According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, Arvin Azizi, a 20-year-old kolbar from the village of Qoreh-Dareh in Saqqez County, was shot and seriously injured by border guards while carrying goods in the Hangazhal border area of Baneh on Monday, September 14, 2026.
According to the information received, border guards opened fire on the kolbar using Kalashnikov rifles, striking him in the abdomen.
Following the shooting, Arvin Azizi was transferred to Salaheddin Ayoubi Hospital in Baneh for medical treatment. As of the publication of this report, no further information is available regarding his latest physical condition.
