This is a monthly report on the suicide situation in Iranian Kurdistan during the period of April 2021, which was prepared with the efforts of the Statistics Center of the Hana Human Rights Organization.
It should be noted that this statistic dos not includes all cases of human rights violations in Iranian Kurdistan. There is no ground for the free operation of human rights organizations, but our colleagues at Hana Network do their best to provide the most reports.
15 Suicide case
From the beginning of April to the end of this month, according to reports from Hana colleagues in Iranian Kurdistan, at least 15 suicides have occurred, which indicates the growing growth of this condition.
Of these, 6 were female and 9 were male
Out of 15 suicides, 8 case in Kurdistan province, 3 cases of women and 5 cases of men,
5 case in Uromiah province, 2 cases male and 3 case female,
And 2 cases are related to Kermanshah province, both of which were men.
In the first quarter of the year, the number of suicides was 17 cases, which if we divide it by three months, becomes close to 6 cases per month, while the number of suicides has increased by about 3 times.
In all assemblies and countries, governments are obliged to provide the basic conditions for a peaceful and simple life for their people, and also psychological, physical and social security must be provided after the first case, while None of the above cases are relative for the citizens of Iran, and especially for the provinces of Kurdistan of Iran, which, of course, result in many psychological problems in society, which manifests itself in various ways, including suicide.
