According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on the evening of Wednesday, August 19, 2026, Shirin Masoudi, a civil activist from Mahabad, was arrested at her workplace by Intelligence Department forces and transferred to this security institution’s detention center in Orumiyeh.
Based on received information, at approximately 17:00, Intelligence Department forces entered her workplace, a beauty salon near Qaneh Bridge in Mahabad, and violently arrested Shirin Masoudi without presenting a judicial warrant. The family’s efforts to obtain information regarding her condition and the status of her case have been unsuccessful thus far.
Shirin Masoudi is a beauty and cosmetics instructor, a member of the Razhan mountaineering group, and an active participant in charitable organizations in Mahabad.
