On the dawn of Sunday, February 8, 2026, the death sentence of Firouz Mohammadi, a 46-year-old prisoner, was executed in Khorramabad Central Prison (Parsilon).
According to received information, this prisoner had been sentenced to death under the charge of “premeditated murder” within the framework of the qisas (retribution-in-kind) law. An informed source stated that he was arrested approximately three years ago following a dispute over financial issues and was subsequently sentenced to death.
As of the time of this report, the execution of this sentence has not been announced by official media or authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
