At least four Kurdish citizens were arrested by security forces in Qorveh

The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that over the course of two days, at least four Kurdish citizens from Qorveh were arrested by security forces and transferred to undisclosed locations.

According to an informed source, on Saturday, 14 February 2026, two citizens identified as Ehsan Bashiri and Moslem Cheraghi, both 23 years old and residents of Qorveh, were arrested by security forces. The source stated that Moslem Cheraghi was detained without the presentation of any judicial warrant, on Imam Ali Boulevard in Qorveh, in front of his workplace.

Additionally, on Friday, 13 February 2026, two other residents of Qorveh, identified as Milad Mozafari and Mohammad Khademi, a football player and athlete, were arrested by security forces and taken to undisclosed locations.

It is worth noting that since the time of their arrest, no information has been made available regarding the reasons for the arrests or the place of detention of these four Kurdish citizens.
