According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Saturday, 24 January 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Adel Raeis-Qanvati, from the city of Ashkhaneh in North Khorasan Province, was arrested by security forces.
Based on available reports, he later managed to make a brief phone call to his family, informing them that he is being held in the quarantine ward of Bojnord Prison.
