As part of the ongoing wave of arrests in illam Province, at least two Kurdish citizens were arrested by security forces in the cities of Dareh Shahr and Abdanan and transferred to an unknown location.
According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization: on Friday, January 16, 2026, a Kurdish citizen named Mohammad Zeini Vand, from Dareh Shahr County, illam Province, was arrested by security forces.
Additionally, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, another citizen named Farzad Moradi, from the village of Anjireh in Abdanan County, was also arrested by security forces.
It should be noted that, since their arrest, no information is available regarding the fate, physical condition, or place of detention of these two citizens.
