According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on the morning of Wednesday, January 28, 2026, the death sentence of a prisoner identified as Fouad Amini, from Mahabad County, was carried out at the Central Prison of Mahabad.
According to received reports, this prisoner had been arrested three years ago on charges of “intentional murder” and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
