The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Diako Mohammadi, an 18-year-old Kurdish citizen from the village of Kani-Rash in Salaseh Babajani and resident of Qeshm, lost his life during the popular protests in the city as a result of live-fire shooting by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
