Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that at dawn on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, the execution sentences of two prisoners — Karam-Ali Farhadi, from Shahr-e Kord, in Bam Central Prison, and Shahmorad Abdi, a Kurdish prisoner from Abdanan, in Ilam Central Prison — were carried out in separate cases on charges related to “premeditated murder.”
In addition, the execution of another prisoner, Mirzakhan Basati, convicted on drug-related charges, was carried out in Birjand Central Prison.
It should be noted that all three prisoners had previously been sentenced to death in separate cases by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
