Heman Aman, 26, from Qormish village and resident of Bukan County, was severely injured on November 17, 2022, during the nationwide protests over the state killing of Zhina Amini, after being directly shot with 180 pellet rounds by the suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. On November 18, 2022, he was arrested in his family home following physical assault by security forces. He was subsequently killed under torture in one of the security detention centers of the Islamic Republic of Iran on November 23, 2022.
The Intelligence Office of the Islamic Republic in Bukan County summoned Heman Aman through a phone call to his father, and security forces transferred him to Orumiyeh and handed his body over to his father.
It is worth noting that Heman Aman’s funeral was held under heavy security measures, yet his family, despite threats from the suppressive forces, held a memorial ceremony for him.
