Rebaz Salehivand (Ayoub), a 21-year-old from the Yusefkand village in Mahabad County, West Azerbaijan Province, was directly shot with a pellet gun by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran on November 22, 2022, near the Haji Mamian village in Mahabad, during the nationwide protests over the state killing of Zhina Amini. He succumbed to his injuries after several hours.
