According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, more than 50 days have passed since the arbitrary arrest and unlawful detention of Chiako Rezaei, an athlete from Sanandaj. However, no information has yet been made available regarding his condition or whereabouts, raising serious concern among his relatives.
A reliable source told the Hana Human Rights Organization that Chiako Rezaei’s family has had no information about his situation or place of detention since the time of his arrest.
The source added that despite the family’s repeated attempts to obtain information by contacting security and judicial institutions, the authorities have refused to provide any response and continue to deny them information about his fate.
According to the same source, Rezaei’s detention order has been extended until December 1, 2025.
It should be noted that Chiako Rezaei was arrested on September 5, 2025, by security forces without the presentation of any judicial warrant and was subsequently transferred to an undisclosed location.
