According to received reports, Hekmat Amiri, a civil activist from Dehgolan, was sentenced to 42 months in prison by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court in Dehgolan, presided over by Judge Rostami Ahqar.

According to this report, Mr. Amiri was sentenced to 6 months of imprisonment and 36 months of suspended imprisonment on charges of "propaganda against the regime and collaboration with groups and organizations opposed to the regime." The verdict was communicated to him in early August 2024.

The court session addressing Hekmat Amiri's charges took place in April 2024 at the Revolutionary Court in Dehgolan.
