According to information received by Hana Human Rights Organization, the death sentence of Farhad Tavan, a prisoner from illam, was carried out at dawn on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at the Central Prison of illam.
According to the information received, Tavan was arrested approximately two years ago on charges of “intentional murder” of his wife and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
It should be noted that, as of the time of publication of this report, official authorities and state-affiliated domestic media outlets had made no mention of the execution.
