According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Sunday, October 4, 2026, Mohsen Gardeshi, a citizen from Bukan, was sentenced to four months and 15 days in prison by Branch One of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office in Bukan.
Mohsen Gardeshi had previously been arrested by security forces on October 7, 2025, along with his brother, Hossein Gardeshi. Mohsen Gardeshi was released several days after his arrest, while Hossein Gardeshi remained in detention for approximately two months before being temporarily released from Orumiyeh Central Prison on Monday, March 9, 2026, after posting bail.
