According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, Jamil Ahmadi, a civil rights activist, athlete, and Kung Fu coach from Sanandaj, has been sentenced to one year of Ta’zir imprisonment by Branch Two of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Mehran Ramezani.
The sentence was issued following judicial proceedings against him on the charge of “propaganda against the regime.”
It is worth noting that in recent years, Jamil Ahmadi has repeatedly been summoned and interrogated by security agencies and subjected to the filing of judicial cases in connection with his civil rights activities.
