According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, Foad Qaderi, a 27 year old man from Sarrod village in Javanrud County and a nurse residing in Sanandaj, has been transferred to Dizelabad Prison in Kermanshah after being held for several days in a security detention facility. According to the report, he sustained fractures to several ribs while in detention and is currently being held without access to medical care.
According to the information received, Foad Qaderi was arrested by Ministry of Intelligence forces on Monday, September 21, 2026, while traveling from Ravansar to Kamyaran, without the presentation of a judicial warrant. He was transferred to an undisclosed location and held there for several days for interrogation.
Reports received indicate that the citizen was subjected to torture while held in the security detention facility, resulting in fractures to several ribs. Despite his injuries, he has so far not been provided with access to medical treatment or care.
At the time of Foad Qaderi’s arrest, security forces also raided his family home, searched the premises, and confiscated and removed several of his personal belongings.
As of the publication of this report, no detailed information is available regarding the reasons for Foad Qaderi’s arrest or the charges against him. He has also been denied access to a lawyer and contact or visits with his family.
