According to reports received by HANA Human Rights Organization, Mansour Qaderzadeh, Yousef Amini, and Ali Shokri, three citizens and cultural activists from Bukan, have been transferred to Bukan Central Prison following the completion of their interrogation at one of the security detention facilities.
According to information received, on Sunday, June 28, 2026, after weeks of being held in a security detention facility at an undisclosed location, the three were transferred to Bukan Central Prison. Mansour Qaderzadeh was transferred after 19 days in detention, Yousef Amini after 16 days, and Ali Shokri after 13 days. A bail of two billion tomans has been set for the temporary release of each of them.
Despite their transfer to prison, no official information has been released regarding the reasons for their arrest, the charges against them, or the status of their cases. Reports also indicate that throughout their time in the security detention facility, all three were denied access to a lawyer, phone calls, and visits from family members.
Mansour Qaderzadeh, 43, son of Ahmad, originally from the village of Qaluye Zendan in Mahabad County and residing in the Miravay area of Bukan, was arrested by security forces on June 10, 2026, without a judicial warrant. Yousef Amini, a 50-year-old retired teacher from the village of Aliabad in Bukan, was arrested on the evening of June 13, 2026, following a security forces raid on his home, also without a judicial warrant. Ali Shokri, a cultural activist from Bukan, was arrested on June 15, 2026, when security forces raided his workplace without a judicial warrant, and was transferred to one of the security detention facilities in Orumiyeh for interrogation.
According to available information, Yousef Amini had previously been arrested on an earlier occasion, when he was arbitrarily detained by security forces at a wedding simply for wearing traditional Kurdish attire that matched the dress of several other guests present.
