Based on reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, in the early hours of Wednesday, January 21, 2026, the death sentence of a prisoner identified as Shaho Safari, from Sahneh in Kermanshah province, was carried out at Sanandaj Central Prison.
According to received reports, the prisoner had previously been arrested on charges of “premeditated murder” and was later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
