Sohrabzadeh: If I am deported, I will be executed!

Hana: a Kurdish asylum seeker detained  by Turkish forces.

The news outlets reported that Afshin Sohrabzadeh, a Kurdish asylum seeker, was arrested in the Turkish city of Kayseri and transferred to a refugee camp in the same city.

According to reports, he was detained in a room with his hands and feet tied, and at the time of his arrest he managed to send an audio file out of prison, and in his message he asks help and follow-up from all human rights organizations. He stated that in case of deportation, he would face the risk of execution.

The former political prisoner, who was arrested in 2009 and sentenced to death for membership in a Kurdish party, was later reduced to 25 years in prison and released on leave after seven years in prison. He had taken the opportunity and left Iran.
The denial of political activity and membership in political parties is also a clear violation of human rights, of which Afshin Sohrabzadeh is an example.
