Hana: On Tuesday (September 21, 2021), two Kurdish political prisoners identified as “Sirvan Arghavani and Farzad Sadeghian” from the village of Tangisar, after serving more than two months of their six-month sentence, were pardoned from the remainder of their prison sentence and released from The central city of Sanandaj prison.
According to reports received, on Saturday (July 14, 2018); Sirvan Arghavani and Farzad Sadeghian, along with another citizen identified as "Amir Rezaei", were arrested after being summoned to the Sanandaj city intelligence office on charges of collaborating with the "Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran" and were each sentenced to one year in prison. The sentence was reduced on May 2019 to six months' imprisonment by the Court of Appeal.
It should be noted that after 35 days of detention, these citizens were temporarily released on bail of 50 million Tomans until the end of the trial.
