According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, on Monday, November 2, 2026, Sadegh Abubakri, a coach at the Hadaf Football and Futsal Club in Piranshahr, was arbitrarily arrested by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
Sadegh Abubakri is from Shinawa village in Piranshahr County. He is married and has two children.
Since his arrest, Abubakri has been denied access to a lawyer, telephone contact, and visits from his family. No information is available regarding the charges brought against him.
