Hana: According to the published news, the detention of 2 Kurdish citizens from Mahabad has been extended for the 4th time in a row.
Sakar Eini and Farzad Samani are the identities of these 2 Kurdish citizens who have been detained for more than 90 days.
Farzad Samani, a Kurdish student at Kharazmi University, was arrested on Saturday, January 09, 2021, following a raid by security forces on a university dormitory in Karaj.
Sakar Eini, a Kurdish citizen from Mahabad, was arrested by security forces in Tehran on Saturday, January 09,2021.
These citizens were transferred to the IRGC Intelligence Detention Center in Urmia shortly after their arrest for interrogation and reporting of the charges.
It should be noted that these citizens were arrested arbitrarily on charges of collaborating with Kurdish parties.
Arbitrary detention and denial of membership in political parties is one of the most basic human rights violations in Iran.
