According to Hana, citing Kolbar News, on Friday, May 30, 2025, a kolbar identified as Omid Moradi, a resident of Marivan, was beaten by border regiment forces in the Dezawar border area, located in the Nowsud district of Paveh County. He sustained an injury to his leg as a result of the assault.
Omid Moradi is married and the father of one child.
According to the reports, border forces used wooden sticks to beat him during the incident.
It is worth noting that Omid Moradi has been injured multiple times in previous years while working as a kolbar, including suffering torn tendons in his leg due to rock-throwing by border forces.
