Identification of 15 additional victims following the receipt of new reports by the Hana Human Rights Organization

The Hana Human Rights Organization, following its previous reports on the deaths of a large number of citizens during the January 2026 protests, has obtained new documentation revealing broader dimensions of the bloody crackdown in Kermanshah and Ilam provinces. Information received by Hana within the past few hours confirms the identities of additional citizens who were killed as a result of direct gunfire by government forces.

Field investigations indicate that security forces deliberately carried out killings in the Maskan, Elahieh, and Dareh Derij neighborhoods of Kermanshah, as well as in various areas of Ilam, using military-grade weapons and deliberately targeting vital parts of the body. This comes amid ongoing security pressure on families to conceal the real number of victims and to carry out nighttime burials of the bodies.
