According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, four residents of villages in the Margavar area of Orumiyeh County were arrested by security forces and transferred to undisclosed locations.
The identities of those arrested have been established by the Hana Human Rights Organization as Majid Ebtahaj, from the village of Ziwe, and Vahed Shabani, Behdar Asadi, and Saleh Darboubah-Chichak, from the village of Gasian.
With the addition of Farhang Dehghan, from the village of Dizaj Margavar (Dezi), whose arrest on the same day was previously reported by the Hana Human Rights Organization, the number of citizens arrested from villages in the area has risen to five.
As of the publication of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for the arrests, any potential charges brought against the four citizens, or their whereabouts.
