Forouzan Eslami Transferred to the Women’s Ward of Orumiyeh Central Prison

The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that in recent days, Forouzan Eslami, an English language instructor, director of the “Nojavan” Language Academy, and a native of Orumiyeh, was transferred from a security detention facility to the women’s ward of Orumiyeh Central Prison following the conclusion of her interrogation phase.

According to received information, Ms. Eslami informed her family during a phone call that she has been transferred from the “9 Palleh” security detention facility to the women’s ward of Orumiyeh Central Prison.

According to reports from Hana’s sources, the Interrogation Branch of the Public and Revolutionary Court of Orumiyeh has so far denied temporary release for this citizen. Since her arrest, she has been deprived of the right to access a lawyer and face-to-face visits with her family.
It is worth noting that Forouzan Eslami was arrested by security forces in Orumiyeh on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, without a judicial warrant.
