According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, despite 16 days having passed since the arrest of Pezhman Hajizadeh, a citizen originally from the village of Gavmish Goli in Miandoab County and a resident of Bukan, no precise information is available regarding his current status or fate.
Based on gathered details, security forces raided the family home of this citizen on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, and arrested him without presenting a judicial warrant.
Mr. Hajizadeh is married and the father of two children.
Hana sources state that following his arrest, Mr. Hajizadeh was transferred to a security detention center in Orumiyeh for interrogation. The sources added that since his detention, he has only been permitted to make a single, brief telephone call to his family.
