Changiz Qadamkhair, a Kurdish political prisoner was sent on medical leave

Hana; Changiz Qadamkhair, a Kurdish political prisoner imprisoned in Masjed Soleyman Prison who has been suffering from a kidney infection for several years, was sent on medical leave himself and his lawyer after repeated requests from his family.

 

The report received from the colleagues of "Hana Human Rights Organization" states; This political prisoner has been in prison for eleven years now.

Genghiz Qadamkhir, a native of Kamyaran and born in 1988, was arrested on June 9, 2011, near the city of Sanandaj, while IRGC forces used shooting to arrest him.

He was transferred to Sanandaj Central Prison, where he was deported to Masjed Soleiman Prison, 470 kilometers from his hometown, after serving two years. This prison was sentenced by the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court, headed by Judge Babaei, to 40 years in prison during several trials on charges of "acting against national security and membership in Komala."
