According to the reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization; At dawn Monday, May 8, 2023, a Baloch citizen with the identity of “Younes Rigi Rakhshani”, 36 years old, the son of Shahnouz and a resident of Zahedan, was executed in Adel Abad prison in Shiraz without any information or last meeting with his family.
It should be remembered that the mentioned person was arrested two years ago on charges related to drug crimes on the way from Zahedan to Shiraz and was sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Younes Rigi Rakhshani was married and the father of six children.
It should be noted that at least 23 Baloch citizens have been executed in the prisons of the Islamic Republic in the past few days.
