According to information received by HANA Human Rights Organization, Kiumars Hassanbeigi, a citizen from illam, was arrested by IRGC Intelligence Organization forces on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, and five days on, nothing is known about his whereabouts, physical condition, or fate.
Security agents arrested him by force and without a judicial warrant, according to information received. Sources close to HANA say he suffered a broken right arm from being beaten during the arrest.
Hassanbeigi has been denied access to a lawyer and contact or visits with his family since his arrest, according to informed sources. Despite his family’s efforts to obtain information from security and judicial authorities, nothing has so far been disclosed about his whereabouts, physical condition, or the reason for his detention.
