According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, a citizen identified as “Peyman Moradi,” a resident of Mahabad county, was arrested after being summoned to the Intelligence Department of this city and transferred to an unknown location.
Based on received information, Intelligence Department forces had confiscated this citizen’s mobile phone in recent days without presenting a judicial warrant or legal authorization. He was subsequently summoned again under the pretext of going to the Intelligence Department to retrieve his mobile phone, but upon appearing at this security institution, he was arrested without the presentation of a judicial warrant.
