A Tradesman Wounded by Direct Gunfire from IRGC Forces on the Marivan Border

According to reports received by HANA Human Rights Organization, on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, a border tradesman identified as Mohammad Naderi, from the village of Sardosh in Marivan County, was seriously wounded by direct and unwarned gunfire from IRGC forces.

According to information received, Mohammad Naderi was shot directly by armed forces stationed at an IRGC outpost at the Dole Bid border crossing in Marivan, sustaining serious injuries to his leg.

It should be noted that following the shooting, the tradesman was taken to a hospital for treatment and was discharged after one day of hospitalization and initial care.

While condemning the indiscriminate shooting of tradesmen and kolbars by security forces, HANA Human Rights Organization regards such actions as a clear violation of the right to life and a flagrant breach of international human rights treaties.
