According to reports received by HANA Human Rights Organization, in the early hours of Tuesday, June 16, 2026, the death sentence of a prisoner identified as Alireza Ahmadi, from Tehran, was carried out at Qezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.
According to reports received, this prisoner had been arrested seven years ago on charges related to “drug offenses” and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
