Mansour Basami Arrested by the Intelligence Department in Marivan

According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, in the early hours of Saturday, May 30, 2026, Mansour Basami, a resident of the village of Bisaran and currently living in Marivan, was arrested by agents of the city’s Intelligence Department.

According to reports received by Hana, security forces raided Mr. Basami’s residence, arrested him, and transferred him to an undisclosed location. As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for his arrest, his place of detention, or any charges brought against him.

Several hours after his arrest, Mr. Basami’s family remains unaware of his whereabouts and condition.
