According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, nearly a month and a half after the arbitrary detention of Shelir Mam-Qaderi, a 34-year-old Kurdish woman from Mahabad, concerns regarding her physical condition and health have severely escalated.
In recent days, due to the critical deterioration of her physical state resulting from severe torture, Ms. Mam-Qaderi was transferred to a hospital under tight security measures and underwent surgery. Reports indicate that the extent of the injuries inflicted upon her caused bone fractures and internal bleeding.
Despite her critical need for continued medical treatment and specialized care, security forces transferred her back to Orumiyeh Prison before her recovery process could be completed.
According to received information, the allegations brought against this Kurdish citizen are reportedly linked to her communication and cooperation with justice-seeking families in Mahabad.
Shelir Mam-Qaderi, who is battling cancer and is the sole provider for her two children, continues to be systematically denied the right to visit or contact her children.
