According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Friday, 20 March 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Kaveh Abdollahzadeh, 39, married and a father of three, from Khalifan village in Naqadeh, was arrested by security forces.
According to Hana sources, Mr. Abdollahzadeh was detained without the presentation of judicial documents while traveling on the Mahabad–Naqadeh route and was subsequently transferred to the central prison of Naqadeh.
It should be noted that, as of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for his arrest or the charges brought against him.
