According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Saturday, 14 February 2026, a Kurdish worker from Bukan lost his life in a work-related accident in Iraq.
The worker has been identified as Hadi Rahimzadeh, a married man and the father of a five-year-old child, originally from the village of Amirabad, a district of Bukan.
Based on available information, the incident occurred in the city of Naseriyeh while he was working at a semi-finished construction site.
