Based on reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Saturday, 14 February 2026, the death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner identified as Godarz Mokhber, a native of Paveh, was carried out at Sanandaj Central Prison.
According to the information obtained, the prisoner had previously been arrested on charges of “premeditated murder” and was later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
