Based on reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Tuesday, 10 February 2026, Afshin Hosseinpanahi, a resident of Sanandaj, was arrested following a raid by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to informed sources, Mr. Hosseinpanahi’s arrest was carried out arbitrarily and without the presentation of any judicial warrant by security forces. It should be noted that he is a long-time civil activist who has previously faced repeated arrests, interrogations, and security-related pressures.
