Tahereh Soleimani was transferred to Kermanshah Central Prison to serve her prison sentence

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Saturday, 7 February 2026, Tahereh Soleimani, an environmental activist from Kermanshah and a detainee from the “Women, Life, Freedom” movement, was transferred to Kermanshah Central Prison to serve a sentence of three months and ten days.

According to available information, Soleimani was taken into custody after being summoned to the court’s sentence enforcement branch and placed in the women’s ward of Kermanshah Prison. She had previously been sentenced by the Islamic Republic judiciary on charges of “propaganda against the regime.”

It should be noted that this environmental activist had earlier, on 9 December 2022, suffered a broken hand due to severe violence by security forces and spent about 19 days in detention. Additionally, on 24 August 2025, she was again forcibly detained, and her personal phone and laptop were confiscated by security forces.
