According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on the evening of February, 2, 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Shahrokh Aminpour, son of Bayazid and a resident of the village of Gerdi Yaghoob, a dependency of Mahabad County, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
According to Hana’s sources, Mr. Aminpour was arrested at his private residence by security forces without the presentation of any judicial warrant or legal documents.
It should be noted that, as of the time of this report, there is no information available regarding the reason for his arrest or his place of detention.
