January protests / Yazdan Ravaei was killed following direct gunfire by security forces in Tehran

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, a Kurdish citizen named Yazdan Ravaei, from Harsin County in Kermanshah Province, was killed during public protests in the Shahriar neighborhood of Tehran as a result of direct gunfire by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
