January Protests / Death of Hamid Reza Yousefi Following Direct Gunfire by Repressive Forces in Kermanshah

Hana Human Rights Organization has been informed that on Thursday, January 8, 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Hamid Reza Yousefi, a resident of Kermanshah Province, lost his life during the popular protests in the Elahiyeh neighborhood of this province as a result of direct gunfire by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
