Based on reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, Azhwan Khezrian, a Kurdish civil activist from Sardasht County, was arrested by security forces at his workplace, the “Sharko” cybercafé, and transferred to an unknown location.
According to Hana’s sources, the security forces arrested this civil activist without presenting any judicial warrant. During the raid on his workplace, they also confiscated all electronic devices, including computers and digital equipment.
It should be noted that since his arrest, there has been no information available regarding Azhwan Khezrian’s place of detention, legal status, the charges against him, or his physical and mental condition.
