Hana Human Rights Organization has been informed: on Thursday, January 8, 2026, a 25-year-old Kurdish citizen named Arian Moradi, from Saqqez County, lost her life as a result of direct gunfire by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during popular protests in Kish.
According to Hana’s sources, Arian Moradi, who had traveled to Kish for work, was targeted by direct gunfire from the repressive forces during the protests and was killed.
It is noteworthy that the body of this Kurdish citizen was buried two days ago in her hometown, Saqqez County.
