The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on the evening of Saturday, January 17, 2026, five environmental activists—Mohammad Hejrani, Kamran Moradi, Aram Saeedian, Yahya Darvishi, and Mahan Azami, all from Javanrud—were arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
