Amid the ongoing widespread wave of arrests in various cities across Kurdistan by security institutions, at least three citizens, including a 16-year-old child, have been arrested in Oshnavieh County.
According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, in the early hours of Sunday, 14 December 2025 ( 23 Azar 1404), a 16-year-old child identified as Seraj Elyasi, a resident of Hasanabad (Asnawi) village, a suburb of Oshnavieh, was arrested by security forces.
Additionally, on Saturday, 13 December 2025 ( 22 Azar 1404 ), another citizen identified as Shaho Ebrahimi, a resident of Alkawi village in Oshnavieh County, was arrested by Intelligence Department forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant.
Previously, Shwaneh Ebrahimi, the brother of Shaho Ebrahimi, was arrested on Thursday, 4 December 2025 (13 Azar 1404), by security forces at his parental home without the presentation of judicial documents, and he remains in detention.
It is worth noting that following their arrests, these citizens were transferred to undisclosed locations, and as of the time of publication of this report, no information is available regarding their fate or the charges brought against them.
