Abdolrahman Bakhtiyari, a 66-year-old resident of Saqqez, was shot dead on 17 November 2022 during the nationwide protests over the state killing of Jina Amini. He was sitting inside his personal vehicle in front of his home on Sa’adi Street when security forces of the Islamic Republic directly fired two live rounds at him, killing him on the scene.
